This industry moves so quickly and changes over night sometimes and the amount of information out there is just crazy. I think if people just focus on building their business online through proactive marketing while having a well structured and optimized website the rankings will happen naturally. Even Matt Cutts says it in yesterday interview on WebProNews that everyone should watch. He states more SEO should be marketing driven. I think it is because there are so many definitions of SEO out there that people just don't know what works anymore and what doesn't.
